ماهو فيروس كورونا ؟

هو فصيلة كبيرة من الفيروسات التي قد تسبب المرض للحيوان والإنسان . هناك عدد من فيروسات كورونا سببت للإنسان حالات عدوى الجهاز التنفسي تتراوح مابين نزلات البرد العادية وإلى بما يعرف  ب " المتلازمة التنفسية الحادة الوخيمة ( السارس) ". ويسبب مرض فيروس كورونا المكتشف مؤخرا مرض فيروس كورنا كوفيد-١٩  ، والذي تم إكتشافه لأول مرة في كانون الأول/ديسمبر ٢٠١٩ في مدينة يوهان الصينية .
ماهي أعراض الإصابة بفيروس كورونا ؟

تتمثل أعراض فيروس كورونا كوفيد-١٩ في الحمى ، الإرهاق ، السعال الجاف ، ألم الحلق ، إحتقان الأنف ، آلام المفاصل ، الرشح ، أو الإسهال  .
الخبر الجيد هو أن معظم المرضى (٨٠%) يتعافون من المرض دون الحاجة إلى علاج خاص ، ويشتد المرض عند الأشخاص ذوي الأمراض المزمنة التي من شأنها زيادة حدة المرض ؛ كأمراض القلب وضغط الدم والأزما وأمراض الجهاز التنفسي والسكري ، أيضا كبار السن وكل الأشخاص ذوي المناعة المنخفضة جدا ؛ كالمصابين بمرض نقص المناعة المكتسبة أو ما يعرف بالإيدز .


كيفية إنتقال العدوى ؟

ينتقل المرض عن طريق القطيرات الصغيرة التي تتناثر  من الأنف أو الفم عند العطس . بالتالي تنتقل العدوى عند ملامسة هذه القطرات المتناثرة سواء كانت في جسم الشخص المصاب أو الحامل لها ، أو ملامسة الأشياء التي تناثرت عليها قطرات الشخص المصاب .
كم عدد المصابين بفيروس كورونا كوفيد-١٩ ؟
تجاوز عدد المصابين إلى الآن أكثر من 100.000 حالة أصابة حول العالم ، تتوزع على 85 دولة ، معظم هذه الأصابات توجد في الصين ، كوريا الجنوبية ، إيطاليا ، وإيران .
أما عدد الوفيات فيقدر بحوالي 3.408 حالة وفاة .

كيفية الوقاية من فيروس كورونا كوفيد-١٩ ؟

١/ النظافة الشخصية .. غسل اليدين بالماء والصابون أو فركها بالكحول .
٢/ إتباع آداب العطس والسعال .. لابد من تغطية الأنف عند العطس والفم عند السعال بالمنديل والتخلص من المنديل بطريقة آمنة ، وفي حالة عدم وجود المنديل يمكن إستخدام مرفق اليد بالصورة الصحيحة .
٣/ تجنب المخالطة اللصيقة بالأشخاص الذين لديهم أعراض البرد أو أمراض الجهاز التنفسي .
٤/ طهي الطعام بشكل جيد  .. خصوصا المنتجات الحيوانية كاللحوم والبيض ؛ فالحرارة لها قدرة كبيرة على قتل الفيروسات .
٥/ تجنب التعامل غير الآمن مع الحيوانات البرية ؛ سواء حيوانات المنزل أو المزرعة .
