Trump declares New York a disaster zone because of Corona

On Saturday, US President Donald Trump declared a New York City a disaster area because of the emerging Corona virus (Covid 19), which has turned into a global pandemic. Trump confirmed, during a press conference, that it was agreed with Canada and Mexico to close the borders in order to prevent the spread of the Corona virus, which has infected more than 22 thousand people in the United States.

New York State Governor Andrew Como said that the number of coronavirus cases throughout the state was raised to 10,356 (including 6,211 cases in New York City, state center), stressing the urgent need to increase the capacity of state hospital beds by about 50,000 beds ( Except the current one) with the help of the federal government.

The US President added that work is underway with Congress on unprecedented measures to stem the spread of the global epidemic.

On Saturday, the Washington Post revealed that, in January and February, US intelligence secretly alerted that the Corona virus (Covid 19) had turned into a global pandemic, but President Trump underestimated that warning.

The newspaper added that Trump and US lawmakers played down the intelligence warning and failed to take measures that would curb the spread of the epidemic that has infected more than 19,770 people within the United States.

The US intelligence did not specify, at the time, the likely date of the virus reaching or spreading it on American soil on a large scale, but it was aware of the outbreaks in China and other countries.

The American intelligence was satisfied with noting the frequency of the spread of the virus, and warned that the Chinese authorities are trying to reduce the severity of the disease because they do not reveal accurate information about the health status.

Earlier, Trump praised his
administration's efforts to rein in the Corona virus because it had imposed rapid restrictions on entry to the Chinese or people who visited the Asian country, but the United States soon saw a significant rise in the number of people infected.

Trump approved a plan to give every US citizen $ 1,200 and $ 2,400 to married couples with less than 75,000 dollars in annual income, amid the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Panic in stores and markets on toilet paper and canned food

With the spread of the Corona virus around the world, shoppers are running around the markets, supermarkets and pharmacies either to fight the Corona virus or to prepare for possible quarantine. Early popular products were Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer. As with the spread of the virus in a large way, the demand has become steadily on toilet paper. Because of the panic, fear of the people, and the high turnout in stores, most stores have restricted what people can buy, as shoppers cannot purchase more than six antiseptic wipes, hand sanitizers, and hard wipes. But why is the toilet paper the last purchase without others? The behavior of people and their high demand for toilet paper has been explained by the fact that since people do not know how to interpret the virus, it raises the need to prepare in any way possible. Something they can buy they know they might need ... is toilet paper. With the spread of the epidemic around the world, people were seen rushing t...
